Sarasota Mexican Tile Renew Tech Jessica Bloomfield Has Perfected Staining Technique to Apply Original Colors to Old Worn Mexican Tile Floors. Traditionally, Saltillo tiles are left unglazed, although some manufacturers sell them pre-treated or pre-sealed in order to increase their durability. Saltillo tile is by far the most common of the Mexican and Spanish tiles found on the market. It is made from raw clay traditionally pressed by hand, and has an earthy, rough, almost terracotta look to it.
Sarasota Mexican Tile Renew Tech Jessica Bloomfield Has Perfected Staining Technique to Apply Original Colors to Old Worn Mexican Tile Floors. To revive old, worn Mexican tile floors, we can stain them to restore their original colors by first removing the existing sealer, dirt and grime, then applying a stain/pigment color mixture, allowing it to dry, and finally sealing the floor with multiple coats of our color enhancer sealer.
